My Scrapbooking Corner

This layout is for my dad. This is a photo of my grandfather, dad and their dog. I used the On Trend paper pad. I used scanned the original photo so I can make it larger, but then I used the original  along side the copy of the photo. I have matted the photo on patterned paper from the On Trend paper pad.  Photo mats are 2 1/4" x 3 1/4" & 4 1/2" x 6 1/2".   The "adorable and awesome" embellishments  are from On Trend digital die cuts. The gray chevron pattern is from the Heritage project life digital core kit. All embellishments are from the On Trend collection except for the brown doily behind the butterfly. That is from  Maggie Holmes digital die cuts. The bird is Maggie Holmes digital die cut collection otherwise the rest of the die cuts are On Trend. This polaroid frame is from Maggie Holmes. This is a one page layout I made for my dad's scrapbook. These pictures are of my dad when he was a baby. I used Splendor paper pad for this layout. Here I used a green washi tape to go all the way across the layout and then I took a teal washi tape, which was translucent and so I mounted it on yellow cardstock, so the print on the washi tape would show. I purchased some punch aparts from Tuesday Morning and these butterflies came from that. I used Pine Needles Distress Stickles on the center of the  butterflies and also on the scallop border I added to the layout. I added honeydew twine from the Twinery  for the butterflies flight patterns. I have a floral pattern down behind my photos that  3 1/2" x 8". The photo mats are 2 1/4" x 3 1/4" The polaroid frame is cut using the Silhouette. The heart, butterfly, large and small scallop circle is punch apart from Tuesday Morning. Here is a two page layout I completed. This is a photo of Coco's sister Ruby who disappeared and when I finally did find her she was asleep in my bag I take to work with me.  The paper I used for this layout is DCWV Spoiled Rotten paper pad. Here is page one of the two page layout. I used washi tape from Michaels. "Willl You Take Me 2" is from Amy Tangerine Goodness Thickers. The border strip is cut from a Dogs and Cats paper pad purchased from Big Lots many years ago.  I also cut the glittered heart from the same paper line. The "happy sticker is from Momentos Vellum phrase sticker book. I used a epoxy cloud dot along with my homemade enamel dots. The patterned paper is from Splendor paper pad. I used the same pattern to cut border strips. I layered the patterned paper onto pink cardstock. I used the Knockout scallop punch to cut the decorative border.  I used white doilies from my stash. The pink layer is 8 1/2" x 3 1/2". The phrase strips was a Maggie Holmes 4" x 6" project life card that I cut in strips to use on this layout. Let's take a closer look at the layout below. This layout I made using the Summertime Love kit purchased at Tuesday Morning.  This picture is of my dad when he was about 2. I used many layers on this layout.  The rainbow print is from the 8" x 8" paper pad, the diagonal print behind picture is 7" x 3", and the striped border is 1/2" x 8". The picture is 2" x 3" with a white border.  I used a patterned paper from the 8" x 8" paper pad for my photo mat 3" x 4". The arrow with cute is cute from a Memo Happy Moments journaling card. All the small embellishments are from the Summertime kit. I made a small cluster at the bottom right of the layout. I also used my homemade enamel dots around the layout. I used a 3" x 4" journaling card from the Strawberry Project Life Core kit.  "Boy, his, and kitties" are Hooray aqua Thickers by American Crafts. Here is a layout I did of my dad when he was maybe 2 and one when he was 17 both on the tractor. I think he was born for the tractor.  I used paper I purchased from Scrapbook.com. I cut the tractor and pig from another paper that I also purchased from Scrapbook.com. Let's take a closer look at the layout below. This is another post card brought home after WWII by my grandfather. I took the location off the post card and that is my title. I also looked up the location on Google to learn more about the area. I used  Splendor a GCD Studios - Heather Tozzi paper pad. I used a sketch 11/30/05 by IcePanthress.  I have several different  paper layers.  The polka dot layer is 6 1/2" x 9", pink pattern is 4 1/2" x 11, pink bracket pattern to the top right and bottom left of the layout is 1" x 5 3/4".  Documented journaling card is Everyday Collection by Miss Tina.   Let's look below for further details.
