My Scrapbooking Corner

This is a layout of my stepson and I with his dad at work. We had a blast hanging out.  The background is Recollections Sweetest Thing paper pad.  I did some white gesso on the background to mute the colors.  I did some watercoloring to the background. The four cards that were used on the left and right side of the photo is is from a cut apart sheet from Studio Calico Seven papers goldie. The layers set behind the photo are scraps from Recollections Sweetest Thing paper pad.  The chipboard stickers are Basic Grey Typeset stickers. The film strip set behind the left of the photo is from Silhouette store. The strips are from Recollections Sweetest Thing paper pad. The circle is from Oh Snap sticker sheet.  The cork circle is Heidi Swapp that was on clearance at Walmart. Used a mesh drywall tape behind the layers to add texture. This is a layout of my step son and I taking selfies while sitting at home watching TV.  We would get silly sometimes. We have good times sitting at home watching our favorite shows together or just sit and talk about our day or random subjects. I used Creative Scrappers 300 sketch book .  It is the 4th sketch. The background pattern is Recollection Sweetest Thing paper pad.. I did some mixed media using watercolor paints and studio calico roller stamps.  The bottom photo mat is 5 1/2" x 4". The middle photo mat is 5 1/4" x 3 3/4" and the photo is  5" x 3 1/2". Tickets and circle in top right of photo is cut from Crate Paper Boys Rule paper pad.  Used wood veneer people and sequins. This is my niece Jayda. One happy baby she is. I used a patterned paper from the Wanderlust paper pad. I created this layout of my dogs whom received french toast for breakfast. My dog Coco lives with me and my ex husband needed me to take our other two dogs for the weekend, so I spoiled them with french toast. I used a GCC August 2016 sketch challenge. The background is American Crafts WR Crushed Hypnotized. The scallop background is Jen Hadfield Cottage Living cut at 7" x 8 3/4". Red pattern is Spoiled Rotten paper pad at 5" x 2" and 7 1/2" x 1". Paw print pattern is 6" x 4" from Spoiled Rotten paper pad. The dog bone print is 6" x 6" from Spoiled Rotten paper pad. The blue pin striped print is 6" x 4" from Spoiled Rotten paper pad. The dog bone project life card is becky higgins dog themed project life. The paw print and blue pin striped strip are scraps left over from this layout. The background is brown cardstock and then using ink pad and stencil included in the embellishment add on stenciled the flowers onto the brown cardstock. This pattern paper embellishes itself with the amazing artwork that only thing needed are the photo mats cause anything else would cover up the beauty of the patterned paper underneath. Photo mats are 4" x 6".  Brads from the embellishment add on is added to the left of one of the photo mats. This is the second page of the two page layout. A stamp from the unmounted stamp set was used on a piece of yellow cardstock that sets in the middle of the layout.  It is cut at 12" x 2".  The green patterns at the top and bottom are 11" x 4 3/4" and 11" x 3 3/4".  The border at the bottom of the layout is the larger one.
