My Scrapbooking Corner

This is a 2 page layout. This layout makes pages 9 and 10 of this Dream In Color kit.  I made a border at the top of the page using black cardstock then i cut smaller squares and attached a sequin. I have a pink square to attach photo mats. The pink square is 7" x 6". The green photo mat is 3 3/4" x 5 1/4" and the two white photo mats are 2 1/2" x 2 1/2". I attached small metal swirls between the white and green photo mats using a glue dot.  This is the black cardstock border I made at the top. It is 8 1/2" x 1 1/4" and the patterned squares 1" x 1" then I attached sequins using glue dots.  This is the pink cardstock square that is 7" x 6". The green photo mat is 3 3/4" x 5 1/4" and the two white photo mats are 2 1/2" x 2 1/2". I attached small metal swirls between the photo mats. I used the metal swirls throughout this kit, so that way although I used different papers there was some kind

Here are pages 7 and 8. I used everything from the kit except for the journaling card and sentiment card along with the metal spirals and some cardstock. Patterned paper and sticker border is from the kit. This is the first page from this 2 page layout. I used a dream border sticker and I mounted it on pink cardstock. I have two pink photo mats and I only have one that is mounted on a green photo mat.  Here is a look at the sticker and the sentiment tag. The sticker is 8 1/2" x 3 1/4". It is mounted on pink cardstock.  Here is the sentiment I made using the computer. I used my swirls stamp that came with the kit to make the sentiment tag. I used blue, purple, green and burgundy ink and then I used the small metal swirls I bought at Walmart. Here is the second page of the 2 page layout. I have all the embellishments mounted on green cardstock. It is 6 1/2" x 10" and all edges are inked using a burgundy ink pad. I cut two different sized circles.

Here are the next two layouts of the Dream In Color kit. This is pages 5 and 6. This shows the two pages together and below are pictures showing more detail and at the end of the pictures is my YouTube video showing  this layout being assembled.  On this first page I cut a square patterned mat at 8 1/2'" x 6". I have two green patterned strips cut at 1" x 8 1/4" and 4 1/2" x 1". I have a sticker and I matted it with green cardstock. I cut square black cardstock at 2" x 2" and I bought the metal spirals from walmart office section and I used glue dots to adhere them to the black squares and also to the right side of the sticker. I have a glossy purple mat from the kit that will fit a 5" x 3 1/2" photo.  Here is a closer look at the spirals adhered with a glue dot to the black cardstock that is cut at 2" x 2".  Here is a picture of the sticker. I didn't ink the edges of anything. I did mat the stick

This is the two page layout I did using the June 2011 Dream In Color Club Scrap Kit. This is pages 3 and 4 of the kit. I used everything from the kit except the white flower sequins at the bottom of the pages. I have my YouTube video linked under the pictures if you would like to see this page being put together. 4 This is page 3 and I have two photo mats. The red cardstock is cut at 5 1/2" X 4",  the white cardstock is cut at  5 1/4" X 3 3/4" and will fit a 5" X 3 1/2" photo. I cut a strip of patterned paper that matches the backround page to put over the photo mat and I layered sequins that came with the kit over the top of the strip. I cut a small mat for journaling and wrapped a pink felt ribbon around and tied a bow. I put a strip of red cardstock at the bottom of the page and layered a sticker embellishment at the bottom edge of the page, so it will match up with the other half on the second page. I have pages 1 and 2 of the Dream In Color June 2011 Club Scrap Kit. I really enjoyed using this kit. I did 8 1/2" x 11" pages which is why I was allowed to get so many layouts from one kit. I enjoy doing this layout size because it allows me scraps to use to make even more layouts. After the pictures is my YouTube video on this layout.   This is a picture of the two page layout together. Everything I used on these layouts is from the June 2011 Club Scrap Dream In Color kit with the exception of the inks, and a few sentiment stamps. I cut the photo mat at 5 1/4"W x 3 3/4"H. I used a stamp that came with the kit and stamped it on white cardstock using different colored inks. I stamped it several times. I used some marbles I had for a long time and used Stazon black ink to stamp on the marbles. On both pages I used sequins and beads from the kit. These items were part of the kit. In later layouts I used sequins that matched in color from my own stash

I am a member to Club Scrap and receive a kit each month. I have been a member for almost three years now and I have never really used the kits. I have no reason for this, but I decided to do YouTube video series for each month that I have from the last three years. I filmed layouts I made using the kits and I tried to get as many layouts as possible using the kit.  I used everything in the kit with the exception of bringing in some of my own cardstock, stamps, and other embellishments.
