Bloom Where You Are Planted Scrapbook Layout (2014)

Here is a two page layout I made. I just wanted to sit and create and this is what I came up with.
I titled it "Bloom Where You Are Planted", but I didn't add a title yet when I took the pictures.
I actually had no title in mind until I added it to my blog.
Let's look below for more details about this layout.

Here is page one of the two page layout.
The brown layer is cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". I took a yellow pattern from my scrap drawer
and cut a border using a border punch from my stash. It was a Martha Stewart border punch.
I also painted white drywall tape yellow and set that to the top and bottom of the photo mat.
At the top of the page I have a doily that I sprayed with my homemade mists.

I made the flower stems using gesso and green paint.
I used Prima flowers and set them on top of the stems and then added my
homemade enamel dots to the centers of the flowers.

This cluster is done using punch aparts. The polka dot pattern is cut at 2 3/4" x 3 1/2".
The creme tag, heart, flower and arrow are punch aparts from Colorbok I purchased from Big Lots.
I put a homemade enamel dot in the center of the flower. I also put enamel dots at the bottom left of the cluster.

I made this floral cluster using Gesso and green paint. I used a paint brush to
paint the stems and leaves. I used Prima flowers and set homemade enamel dots
in the center and used a twine tied in a bow over the stems.

Used notebook border punch to punch a border in the grid paper set behind
the photo mat. The photo mat is cut at 5" x 3 1/2". I have a pink layer set
to the left of the photo mat that is cut at 1" x 3 1/2".

Here is page two of the two page layout.
Everything on this page is exactly the same as the first page.
