It's a Pirates Life for Me Scrapbook Layout (Birthday)

I made a layout of my nephew's birthday party that was pirate themed.
I made the background using watercolors on white cardstock.
All of the die cuts are from Scrapping Bug Designs.

Here is the first page of this two page layout.
The photo mats are 3 3/4" x 3".  The monkey falling off the
plank is 3"H from Argh Matey die cut kit.  The boat is 8 1/2"H andlookout bear is 7"H from It's a Pirates Life for Me die cut kit.
The clouds are 2"H and 1"H from EIEIO digital kit from Just Scrappy.

The water border is 12" x 1 1/2" from It''s a Pirates Life for Me
die cut kit.  It actually cuts at 6", but I glued two together
to make it go the width of the page.  The title is 1 3/4"H from
It's a Pirates Life for Me die cut kit.  The treasure map is
1 3/4"H from the Silhouette store.

This little sitting bear is 3"H from It's a Pirate Life for Me.
I did do a trace to the images that is sent with each die cut set
purchased, so I could do a print and cut.  To give the die cuts
more dimension I used chalk and a Q-tip.  Since I did a print and cut
instead of piecing together I was unable to ink the edge of the individual
pieces to give it more dimension, but chalk works great, but blendable
colored pencils works even better, which you will see when you look at
my "It's a Pirates Life for Me (Daytona)" scrapbook layout.

Sixth Grade Scrapbook Layout (Girl)

Made this layout for my sister-in-law. I used My sketch #3 by Scrap'n'MO. Background patter is from Fashionably Chic paper pad. The ledger pattern is 4 1/4" x 10", Orange alphabet pattern at the top is 4 1/2" x 1" and the bottom is 3 3/4" x 1".  The blue patterned paper at the bottom of the layout is 4" x 3 3/4". My photo mat is 5 1/4" x 7 1/4". Let's look below for more details about this layout. I have cut the title out of a Me & My Big Ideas patterned paper. "homework" is from Reminisce die cut stickers as is the globe and pencil. I have used stars from a Echo Park cut file. On the right side of the layout I have used a Reminisce die cut sticker and Paper Studio Pre-K to 8th Grade stickers that I popped up on foam dimensionals.
